London brand Hunza G’s one-size swimsuits have become summer staples, loved for their suits-anyone cuts and range of colours and styles, drawing fans ranging from Rihanna to Suki Waterhouse. Tomorrow, June 6, it opens its first standalone London pop-up in Marylebone, where it’ll sell its signature crinkle-fabric designs alongside a line of new merch, and limited-edition pieces that have sold out online.
Named Under the Water, the Marylebone shop’s walls are decked out in the brand’s new signature, Hunza G Blue – a baby blue – with yellow floors, and the space is overlooked by an enormous pink inflatable dolphin. It’s been conceptualised by the brand’s founder and creative director Georgiana Huddart and designed by Studio Boum, which has created events, runway shows and spaces for brands like Loewe, Rhode and Ganni.
On the shelves are the brand’s latest designs and core styles, as well as a selection of pieces from its High Summer 2026 collaboration with Burberry that have sold out online, including the Tyler Bikini and Faye Swim styles. Plus, there’ll be a range of limited-edition Hunza G merch available to buy for the first time: totes, luggage tags, key rings and water bottles.
Hunza originally began in 1984, and was worn in the late 1980s and during the ’90s by the likes of Whitney Houston – who donned one of its swimsuits in the film clip for I Wanna Dance With Somebody. In 2015, Huddart relaunched the brand and updated its name, bringing it forward into a new era and catering for a broad scope of bodies.
“London is where the brand began,” Huddart said in a statement. “This is the first time we have created a physical home here, and we wanted the space to feel like stepping into the world of Hunza G, not simply shopping it.”
The Hunza G summer pop-up runs from June 6 until August 7 at 3 Paddington Street, W1U 5QD.
